Who are we

Decima

At Guerrilla, we are passionate about creating cutting-edge technology tailored to the needs of our games and our partners. That’s why we built Decima: an award-winning, industry-leading engine designed from the ground up.
Decima pushes modern hardware to its limits, delivering best-in-class graphics and performance. It also empowers teams with artist- and designer-friendly workflows, robust production planning tools, and advanced debuggers for programmers.

We believe that the tools a studio uses are just as important as the games they create—and with Decima, we’re setting the stage for innovation and creativity.

Production

Our producers are the heart of the studio, ensuring Guerrilla and our partners collaborate seamlessly to deliver extraordinary results on time. As a Principal Technical Producer, you’ll lead the charge in shaping and optimizing the processes that make Decima the backbone of game development at Guerrilla and beyond. You’ll focus on fostering relationships with external partners, aligning roadmaps, and ensuring smooth release management of the engine, all while empowering teams to deliver excellence.

What you will do

As a Principal Technical Producer, your primary responsibilities include:

  • External Collaboration: Act as the primary production point of contact for external development teams using the Decima Engine, ensuring their needs are met with clarity and precision. Foster strong relationships and drive alignment between Guerrilla and its partners.
  • Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and maintain transparent, actionable roadmaps that align with the evolving needs of Decima users and Guerrilla’s strategic goals.
  • Release Management: Oversee the release process for the Decima Engine, coordinating the creation of release notes, managing dependencies, and ensuring timely, high-quality engine deliveries.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal teams and external partners to manage dependencies, balance priorities, and mediate challenges effectively. Build trust and alignment across diverse groups.
  • Risk and Change Management: Anticipate risks, manage changes to plans proactively, and keep all stakeholders informed to ensure project schedules and deliverables remain on track.
  • Studio-Wide Impact: Contribute to studio-wide practices and culture by introducing innovative production methods and advocating for continuous improvement in workflows, tools, and team dynamics.

Who you are

  • Have 7+ years of experience in production, with at least 3 years focused on technical teams such as Engine, Rendering, or Tools.
  • Proven expertise working on complex, cross-disciplinary projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing roadmaps and release schedules in developing game engines, DCC tools, AAA games, or in similar technical software fields.
  • Have seen multiple stages of AAA development from concept to launch or multiple stages of Tech Industry production from concept to launch.
  • Adept at distilling complex technical discussions into clear, actionable plans, and fostering collaboration among individuals from diverse teams and backgrounds.
  • A strong communicator who excels at creating alignment across teams with different priorities and objectives.
  • A problem-solver with a passion for working on cutting-edge technology and creative projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
