We're seeking a Product Design Manager to join our team and spearhead a revolution in user experience for our suite of applications. Our applications provide users with a personalized guidance offering tailored workout and nutrition plans, along with an intermittent fasting tracker, and walking challenges. Together our apps boast over 65 million installs and are available in 13 languages.

Who Were Looking For?

We are looking for an experienced Product Design Leader to join our Platform and Growth team. The team is primarily responsible for the initial experience, and broader design system, that is the first step of healthier, happier life of our users - an experience used by millions of people every month.

As Product Design Manager you’ll nurture a tight knit relationship with our Platform Product Lead, Platform Engineering Lead, and Product Growth Lead. Whilst being responsible for a team of 10 product designers 6 of which will be direct reports.

You’ll be part of a group of Design, Content and Research Leads who otherwise are responsible for leading the product experiences of our Core Products (FastEasy, Muscle Booster, Yoga Go, WalkFit, and OMO).

The Platform and Growth team is critical to ensuring we offer a coherent end to end experience for our 5 core products - that looks to meet ambitious business goals by understanding our users goals and motivations and meet that with a desirable, personalized and opinionated experience. The key metrics associated with the area are Conversion, Lifetime Value, and Ratio of successful to launched experiments.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive Design System Excellence: Lead a cohesive system across web, app, and internal tools.

• Shape Growth Experiences: Collaborate with Growth Designers and Managers to optimise onboarding and conversion.

• Mentor & Manage: Oversee a team of 10 designers, with 6 direct reports, fostering growth and engagement.

• Collaborate Deeply: Work with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to evolve our platforms, making data-informed, user-centered improvements.

• Strategize for Impact: Develop design visions and lead projects aligning with company goals, balancing user needs with business metrics.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Strategic Influence: Establish our design philosophy, leveraging experimentation and AI advancements to innovate.

• Holistic Experience Creation: Work on areas like Funnel, Design Systems, Creative, Builder, and MarTech to boost conversion and user engagement.

• Problem Solving & Leadership: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric designs while meeting business objectives.

Challenges You'll Tackle:

• Innovation Hub Creation: Lead the app’s transformation and redefine wellness experiences.

• AI Integration: Leverage AI/ML to personalize and streamline designs.

• Cross-Functional Vision: Partner with key leaders to drive an agile, forward-thinking product vision.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Management Expertise: Experience leading designers in fast-paced, agile settings.

• Design Mastery: Strong portfolio demonstrating complex product design solutions.

• Figma Proficiency: Expert use of Figma for high-quality, efficient design work.

• Industry Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of mobile design trends and technologies.

• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to prioritise, pivot, and make strategic decisions quickly.

Ideal Additional Skills:

• AI Interest: A keen eye on how AI can enhance design systems and personalisation.

• Prototyping & Testing: Familiarity with tools like Maze is a plus.

• Content Design Experience: Interest or background in content design and localisation.
