As a Product Design Lead at Kaizen Gaming, you will play a crucial role in both leading and directly contributing to the design efforts for our sportsbook products. This unique position requires a blend of visionary leadership, hands-on design skills and the ability to foster a collaborative and innovative product environment. You will lead a team of Product Designers, ensuring the creation of a seamless user experience for our web and mobile platforms, while maintaining a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all product interactions.

You will become an integral part of a dynamic design team, tasked with evolving our product experience through a wide range of design activities — from initial ideation and conceptualization to detailed prototyping and expansion of the design system.

As a Product Design Lead you will:

• Manage and develop Product Designers, providing feedback, support and guidance to foster professional growth, setting high standards for design excellence and encouraging a productive and positive work environment.
• Craft Designs: Utilize your exceptional skills in Figma to actively engage in the design process, creating detailed, user-centered designs.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work alongside cross-functional teams to conceptualize and validate design solutions, driving innovation in GameTech design.
• Promote and facilitate an open, collaborative space for designers, encouraging strong partnerships with product managers and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the product design process from ideation to implementation, closely aligning with the company's vision and goals.
• Drive Design Strategy: Contribute to and refine our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability while embracing innovation and maintaining alignment with business objectives.

What You'll Bring

• A robust portfolio showcasing a minimum of 7 years of experience in UX & UI design, particularly in crafting high-fidelity designs and complex user flows for web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency and passion for Figma, along with mastery of other design and prototyping tools.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design projects from concept to completion, evidencing strategic thinking and a deep commitment to user-centric design principles.
• A background in mentoring designers, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high-quality output.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying design visions and decisions to a wide range of stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• A background in the sportsbook or sports betting industry, or experience with other high-transaction environments such as FinTech.
• A genuine passion for sports and betting, providing insights into user behavior and needs within this unique sector.
• Experience with usability testing, A/B testing and other design validation methods.
