
Job Overview
At Wargaming, Product Managers (PdMs) sit at the heart of how features and events come to life for our players. As a PdM, you’ll be the bridge between Publishing and Development — creating the plans that ensure every feature is positioned, communicated, and delivered with impact. You’ll define how new content is presented to players, align teams across functions, and make sure launches land smoothly and on time. What will you do?
Publishing & Positioning Planning
- Define the player-facing communication plan for each feature, including what content is needed (e.g., announcements, videos, community updates) and how it will be delivered.
- Share and align this plan with stakeholders to ensure a consistent rollout.
Project & Workflow Execution
- Coordinate publishing and development workflows to ensure smooth and timely delivery of features and events.
- Follow established processes, identify blockers, and escalate issues to enable quick resolutions.
- Ensure PdM activities align with company goals, publishing strategies, and development timelines.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Publishing Producer to align publishing requirements with development deliverables.
- Act as a Publishing Ambassador, representing publishing needs in development discussions and ensuring they are reflected in feature delivery.
- Partner with Publishing functions (SMM, CRM, LiveOps, Content, etc.) and Development teams to ensure operational alignment.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing across teams to support consistent execution.
Roadmap & Feature Integration
- Translate the Development roadmap into actionable publishing and positioning plans.
- Support planning and delivery of publishing milestones tied to development initiatives.
- Monitor assigned tasks and ensure timely execution within agreed quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers, and plans.
- Provide progress updates to stakeholders, highlighting risks, blockers, and dependencies.
- Ensure accountability and knowledge continuity for assigned areas.
What are we looking for?
- Experience: 3+ years in product management, product development, or publishing operations, with gaming industry background as a must.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
- Process Orientation: Strong organizational and workflow management skills.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks.
- Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Mindset: Detail-oriented, problem-solving, and proactive with a hands-on approach to execution.
Success Criteria
- Timely delivery of publishing plans and roadmap milestones.
- Clear and consistent communication of feature positioning across teams.
- Strong alignment between Publishing and Development streams with minimal blockers.
- Positive feedback from stakeholders on planning quality and execution reliability.
Work mode
- Hybrid (3 days of work from the office)
- This role isn't eligible for relocation & immigration support.
