THE POSITION:
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
Seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Product UX & Design team as a UX Research Intern. You’ll take part in meaningful work and real-life projects as you gain an in-depth look into the inner workings of one of the world's premier sports-technology & entertainment companies. You'll learn from some of the most innovative and experienced minds in the industry and improve your knowledge of User Experience processes in a fast-paced environment.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play
Seeks to gain an understanding of our product users/customers and how they engage with our platform(s)
Helps the team contribute to projects by completing tasks assigned to them
Understands and completes tasks using the basic aspects of UX Research
Learns quickly and models after the best people and practices around them
Helps the team contribute to projects by completing tasks assigned to them
Has a very close coaching relationship with a more senior member of the team on technical and
behavioral skills
First job in the field, little to no shipped work, working toward their first piece of shipping work
Work closely with commercial and marketing teams on go-to-market plans for new products
Helps build positive rapport with the design team that encourages their engagement with
researchers
Present your findings and recommendations from competitive analysis and other research projects to
leadership; clearly communicate research findings and next steps

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects while effectively balancing scope, time, and quality
Ability to work independently with little guidance but also cross-functionally
Ability to choose research methodologies to fit the problem, in discussion with colleagues
Ability to conduct an expert review of a product and making recommendations for improvements
Ability to organize, facilitate, and analyze successful usability testing sessions unaided
Skills: critical thinking, quantitative, detail oriented, written & verbal communication
Knowledge of design practices(UX/UI) and principles
Understanding of established patterns for web and native platforms
