Belleville Senators Company Description:

The Belleville Senators Hockey Cub is the Bay of Quinte’s pro hockey team and American Hockey League Affiliate of the Ottawa Senators. We play all 36 of our home games at the CAA Arena located in the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre at 265 Cannifton Rd., Belleville, ON.

Job Description:

The Belleville Senators are hiring for multiple roles for their gameday Production Crew. The production crew is in charge of producing the broadcast of home games. Positions include camera operators, graphics operators, replay operators, lighting operators, switchers and directors. Production Crew members are in charge of operating their given station, following the game script and direction from the Producer. The gameday broadcast feed goes to TVs and the main videoboard in the arena and is also streamed live to AHLTV.


Job Duties:

Job duties vary depending on the role in the production crew. All production crew members are expected to:

  • Follow the game script and direction of the Producer
  • Present themselves in a professional manner at all times
  • Ensure a professional level of quality in all aspects of their job

Requirements

Position requirements vary depending on the role in the production crew. All positions require:

  • Volunteer or previous work experience in a similar field
  • Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Flexibility to learn multiple positions within the production crew
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Able to multitask effectively
  • Able to adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Stand and/or sit for long periods of time
  • Able to receive direction and criticism on the fly
  • Preference will be given to those candidates with education and/or experience in broadcasting hockey
