Contribute to the industrialization of Withings’ award-winning consumer products. Be in charge of the testing of the products by deploying and maintaining testing stations and test softwares on our production lines. Troubleshoot the electronic issues, firmware issues or process issues that may arise. Communicate on a daily basis with the engineering team in France and in China.

Job duties

• Design, deploy and maintain test stations, jigs and test softwares on the production lines.
• Work with the factories to improve production efficiency and yield rate.
• Solve technical problems such as testing, electronics, firmware or software issues.
• Participate in important product industrialization milestones such as NPIs and Trial runs.
• Use production statistics analysis tools to monitor the production lines.
• Co-work with many teams within the company such as production engineering, industrialization and supply chain located in France, Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

Requirements

• Graduated in Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering (BSc or MSc), or related field.
• Experience in software programming (Python) is a strong plus.
• Experience in electronic boards (pcba) design and manufacturing is a plus.
• Can travel within China for up to 50% of the time.
• Good command of Mandarin and English languages.

• Work with PE/TE teams at factories to improve production efficiency and solve technical problems (testing/electronics/firmware/software etc).
• Co-work with the Engineering team (France) and the Operation team (HK).
• Design, deploy and maintain test jigs at factories and suppliers.
• Use statistical analysis tools to monitor the various production lines.

Localisation

The position is based in Shenzhen (Nanshan area) in Guangdong province. Frequent business trips within China (Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hunan provinces and Hong Kong) are to be expected. International trips to France may occur.
