Retail Store Associate (Part-Time) – Boise, ID

About the Role

Selkirk Sport is hiring a part-time Retail Store Associate for our Boise location. You’ll help customers find the right pickleball gear, run in-store demos, and lead beginner clinics. If you enjoy retail, thrive on engaging with people, and love pickleball, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Customer Service & Sales

• Welcome and assist customers with paddles, apparel, and accessories
  
  
• Process purchases accurately and efficiently
  
  
• Keep the store clean, organized, and inviting
  
  

Product Demos

• Showcase Selkirk paddles and gear in-store or on the court
  
  
• Explain product features and performance benefits
  
  

Beginner Clinics

• Lead short training sessions for new players
  
  
• Teach basic shots, rules, and court etiquette
  
  

Store Operations

• Restock shelves, manage inventory, and set up product displays
  
  
• Handle opening and closing duties
  
  

Community Events

• Help with local clinics, tournaments, and store-hosted events
  
  
• Connect with local pickleball groups and promote upcoming activities
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Retail or customer service experience (preferred)
  
  
• Strong communication and people skills
  
  
• Passion for pickleball — playing, coaching, or teaching a plus
  
  
• Comfortable leading demos and clinics on court
  
  
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings

Job Details

• Pay: $17–$19/hour
  
  
• Hours: 10–15 hours/week (flexible scheduling)
  
  
• Store Hours: Mon–Sat, 10 AM–5 PM (closed Sundays)
