Let's start with the role

You will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the first RPA agile team. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the end-to-end RPA lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, ensuring high standards of delivery and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role involves effective team management, technical oversight, and strategic collaboration with product owners to align RPA initiatives with business objectives.

As the RPA Manager you will:

• Lead Kaizen’s first RPA team. Articulate its vision and strategic direction
• Manage the team to the highest level of performance, supervise team’s knowledge management, select and hire top talent, align responsibilities and objectives to abilities and coach performance to achieve success
• Be a partner and ambassador of automations on cross-business impacted discussions across new or evolving clients’ business needs for automation
• Collaborate with product owners to prioritize RPA projects based on business impact and strategic objectives
• Drive technical feasibility, ensure high standards of automations delivery, quality and performance in a timely manner according to the roadmap. Manage the potential technical debt
• Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring a balance of workload and optimal team performance
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security protocols
• Evaluate and recommend new tools or technologies to enhance automation capabilities. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in RPA and process automation

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

• Proven experience in managing RPA or other engineering teams. Having a strong background in JavaScript and/or other RPA tools and frameworks will be considered as assets

• Demonstrated ability of implementing automation solutions from conception to completion and integrating RPA into business processes

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a technical team

• Experience working in Agile or other iterative development methodologies

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business processes for automation opportunities

• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills

• Excellent planning and organizational skills
