Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated College Intern to join our growing Sales team this summer. Your daily workload will include Sales Prospecting, project management and creating customer profiles for NFL and NCAA sports executives and teams, while also expanding the footprint and usage within our current customer base.  The ideal candidate will possess strong desire to learn sales acumen, bring energy and determination to the table, digital skills set (Office, Google, Salesforce etc..), with a solid background/understanding of Professional Football and or Collegiate and/or other professional sports. You will play a critical role in growing client base and revenue within the NFL and NCAA sports teams and strategic initiatives with executives throughout professional and collegiate sports and communities.


This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and with a team, own projects, and drive them across the finish line, with a keen interest in football, and other sports.  The candidate must be located in the US and have a “Can do it” attitude and willingness to learn.


Responsibilities

  • Research Customers: Lead evaluation and documentation of prospective clients for SumerSports SaaS software across the NFL and NCAA  teams.
  • Lead Generation: Reach out to prospective clients via Email, Text, and other digital platforms to engage them on evaluating SumerSports platform.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other Sales team members, Data Science teams, Marketing and other cross functional teams throughout the organization.
  • Innovation: Identify new opportunities for growth and adapt well to rapid change in product platforms, methodologies, and ever expanding customer markets.
  • Must be willing to work a total of 20 hours per week from June 1st – August 15th 2025.

Qualifications

  • Education: Actively enrolled in a University pursuing  a degree in Business ,Marketing, Communications,  Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Customer related field, Sales, Marketing, or Collegiate Athlete program, preferably in a Sports environment.
