Who We’re Looking For:

The Science and Innovation Intern will assist in the long term R+D Innovation process. Supporting the discovery and translation of scientific insights and the subsequent engineering workflows.

Learning Objectives
  • Gain firsthand experience on applying the scientific and engineering methods within the industry framework 
  • Learn how to manage innovation work streams and experience collaborating across multiple departments (e.g., science, engineering, product development) 
  • Learn how to validate prototypes through different engineering and scientific methods 
  • Develop skills in tracking, reporting, and presenting project progress 
  • Assist with data collection and analysis related to experimental designs, ensuring rigorous documentation and reporting of findings 

  • Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing postgraduate education biomedical engineering 
  • Actively involved in graduate studies in this discipline, showing commitment to deepening expertise 
  • Familiarity with scientific research principles and methods, and an ability to interpret and communicate study findings to both scientific and general audiences. Potential undergraduate study in exercise science related field 
  • Experience in prototyping and a general understanding of the product development lifecycle 
  • Curious and analytical, with a willingness to dive into new areas and continuously explore the science behind wellness technologies 
  • Capable of managing time effectively, especially with a project-driven role that involves multiple deliverables over several weeks. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for innovation and creativity. 
  • Collaborative and open to receiving and acting on feedback.
