OBJECTIVE

Join ALO during our most exciting and fast-paced time of year as a Seasonal Associate, where you'll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional guest experience and driving store success. Seasonal Associates are key contributors to our peak season business and will work in either Sales or Operations, supporting the moments that matter most for our stores and guests. 

Whether engaging directly with clients on the sales floor or ensuring seamless execution behind the scenes, you'll help create an authentic, inspiring, and efficient store experience. Through your energy, teamwork, and commitment to excellence, you'll contribute to achieving sales and operational goals while bringing ALO's guiding principles and community to life. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Impacts the business and store environment in a positive manner that aligns with Store goals and ALO’s guiding principles.
• Drive and exceed sales targets by utilizing ALO’s Flow initiatives to optimize productivity and efficiency  
• Provide a friendly “greet” and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support the customer engagement.  
• Process customer transactions and returns in accordance with policy and procedures
• Knowledge of store goals, company communications, initiatives, new product launches and any additional information required by the Store Leadership Team; educate on guest-facing initiatives on the floor
• Leverages company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals
• Resolve client needs quickly & effectively ensuring customer satisfaction
• Assists in processing shipment, in a timely manner.
• Supports with replenishment in on the sales floor, in a timely manner.
• Ensure all front and back of house procedures are executed in accordance with company Policy & Procedures
• Duties require constant movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not actively assisting guests, this position takes initiative to perform other tasks, as needed, to keep store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently.  

SEASONAL ASSOCIATE QUALIFICATIONS  

• Preferred 1+ years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences
• Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles
• Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store
• Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 10-15KG
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift  

SEASONAL ASSOCIATE SCHEDULE

This is a fixed-term Casual Seasonal Associate opportunity commencing from November and concluding at the end of January. Due to the seasonal nature of the role, associates must have flexibility to work across peak trading periods, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and key retail events.  

High-performing Seasonal Associates may be considered for ongoing opportunities with ALO beyond the contract period, subject to business needs and individual performance. 

We are recruiting Seasonal Associates across all ALO Sanctuary locations, including The Galeries and Sydney Westfield.
