In this role, you will be a key driver in our Accounts Payable processes, with a particular emphasis on the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle and the integration of financial systems.

As a senior member of the team, you will ensure the highest level of accuracy in our financial reporting through deep accounting expertise.

This is a specialized expert role focused on process excellence and financial integrity, acting as the technical backbone of the AP function.</div></br><b>Your position in our team</b></br>

<li><strong>End-to-End P2P Management:</strong> Oversee and optimize the entire Procure-to-Pay process, ensuring seamless integration between procurement workflows and accounting records.</li>

<li><strong>Advanced Financial Accounting:</strong> Take full ownership of the accuracy of entries.

You understand exactly how every transaction impacts the P&L and Balance Sheet.</li>

<li><strong>Accruals & Deferrals Mastery:</strong> Lead the month-end and year-end closing activities by proficiently handling complex accruals and deferrals to ensure proper period cutoff (HGB).</li>

<li><strong>Process Integration & Automation:</strong> Collaborate with IT and other departments to refine and automate P2P workflows and financial system integrations, specifically within NetSuite.</li>

<li><strong>Compliance & Quality Control:</strong> Ensure all AP activities comply with internal policies and external accounting standards (HGB).</li>

<li><strong>Technical Mentorship:</strong> Act as the primary technical point of contact for the team, sharing your deep knowledge of accounting principles and system logic.</li>

</br><b>Your profile</b></br>

<li><strong>Professional Experience: </strong>At least 8 years of professional experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting with a relevant degree/certification.&nbsp;</li>

<li><strong>Accounting Expertise:</strong> Exceptional knowledge of HGB; expert in handling accruals, deferrals, and reconciliation of accounts.&nbsp;</li>

<li><strong>System Proficiency: </strong>Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and P2P automation tools.&nbsp;</li>

<li><strong>Analytical Skills: </strong>Passion for data integrity, complex account reconciliation, and continuous process optimization.&nbsp;</li>

<li><strong>Languages: </strong>Fluent in English; good German skills are essential&nbsp;</li>

<li><strong>Soft Skills: </strong>Agile, dynamic, and resilient; comfortable in a fast-paced, global software environment&nbsp;</li>
