As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of our Global Accounting team that is responsible for ensuring all internal and external reporting requirements are met and day-to-day accounting operations are performed. You will adhere to accounting governance plans and processes to timely generate accounting information, reporting requirements, and ensure the quality of financial information.

The ideal candidate will reside in the Riyadh area, however, remote work in Saudi Arabia may be available for the right candidate.

What you’ll do:

Overall responsibility for the IFRS and local (KSA) GAAP financial statements of our KSA entity including but not limited to:

• Accounts Receivable related topics (e.g. issuing invoices in Arabic, communication with clients)
• Accounts Payable related topics (e.g. supplier accounts reconciliation, communication with suppliers)
• Fixed assets accounting
• General ledger reconciliations
• Preparation of local tax returns (VAT, WHT, CIT) in collaboration with external tax advisors including booking and reconciling of these returns and related payments
• Preparation of local financial statements including notes to the financial statements
• Point of contact for the local tax advisors and auditors in connection with tax returns (VAT, WHT, CIT) and (local GAAP and IFRS) financial statements of the company
• Support with bank relationships (communication, admin tasks, and executing transfers) point of contact for local tax authorities (ZATCA)

Requirements

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree with a discipline in controlling, accounting or finance preferred; or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English and Arabic language, both spoken and written
• Able to communicate clearly and enforce deadlines to stakeholders within and beyond the finance community, including senior management.
• Skilled in solving problems in a complex environment and can manage extensive investigations and analysis.
