We are looking for a a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and coordinate accounting duties related to revenue and accounts receivable, along with other accounting-specific tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing revenue contracts, performing account reconciliations, invoicing third-party partners, liaising with external resellers, monitoring databases, assisting with audit preparations, and other assigned accounting duties. To excel in this position, you should have a strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS revenue-related accounting rules (including ASC 606 and IFRS 15), be detail-oriented, and have experience working with large datasets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage and execute revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies for current and upcoming products, documenting revenue-related policies, and maintaining revenue-related worksheets.
  • Monitor and process Accounts Receivable, including communicating with and invoicing partners, researching discrepancies, and following up on payments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Legal, and Finance to understand and provide information on sales and revenue recognition.
  • Work closely with internal systems managers to test sales and revenue data integrity, and to test accuracy of new or current data sets.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue trends and variances, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Performing other accounting duties as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 5 years of accounting experience
  • 2+ years of working with large data sets
  • CPA not required, but is a plus
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition under GAAP/IFRS
  • Experience in working with large data sets.
  • Demonstration of strong analytical skills and the ability to drive process changes.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and interpreting financial statements.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), familiarity with accounting and data reporting systems.

While this role is classified as "hybrid," it's 99% remote and will only need to go into the office occasionally.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Bellevue, WA office. 

Please note that the pay range listed in this job posting reflects the full salary range for this position. While we provide this range to offer transparency, our target hiring range typically falls between the minimum and the midpoint, allowing for growth potential within the role.

Total compensation is salary plus an annual bonus potential. When determining an offer amount, many things are taken into consideration such as qualifications, experience, internal equity and work location. We strive to provide competitive and equitable compensation packages to all our employees.

Bellevue pay range
$89,105$129,205 USD
