The Opportunity

Our Creative Studio team is growing and we're looking for a Senior Creative (Copy) to join us in our mission to help people get their best sleep by bringing a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful messaging across social, Growth, and LCM channels. You will be tapped to help shape Hatch’s brand voice, ensuring it resonates across platforms and audiences.

 This person must be based in the United States or Canada. Hatch is based out of California, so this role would be asked to be available during PST/PDT hours.

What You’ll Do

Within 3 Months: You’ll be diving into both concepting and writing socially-forward, digitally native copy for social channels, growth performance ads and emails on a weekly basis.You’ll be breaking away from “tech product promo” language and finding ways to infuse relatable, culturally relevant copy that resonants with our audience. 

Within 6 Months: You’ll be concepting and writing for small (promo) and large (product release) campaigns.You’ll be a trusted creative leader in the Creative Studio with increased visibility across cross functional teams.You’ll be well-versed in our copy guidelines but also consistently finding ways to evolve it.

After 1 Year: You’ll be an important part of shaping the brand voice at Hatch, while concepting brand campaigns and starting to lead video/photo shoots. You’ll be a self-starter that doesn’t always wait for briefs to jump on culturally forward ideas that we can make in-house.

What You’ll Bring

  • Social Media Creative:
    • Work closely with the Social team to concept and write engaging social content on a weekly basis for both Adult and Kids audiences.
    • Tailor messaging to platform-specific needs while staying aligned with brand voice and strategy.
  • Brand Voice Development:
    • Collaborate with the Creative Studio to refine and develop Hatch’s brand voice across all channels and audience segments.
    • Ensure consistency and innovation in tone, style, and messaging across the brand ecosystem.
  • Growth and Lifecycle Marketing (LCM):
    • Partner with the Growth and LCM teams to write impactful, data-informed copy for performance marketing, email campaigns, and other customer engagement efforts.
    • Drive creative messaging strategies that align with key performance metrics and business goals.
  • Business-As-Usual (BAU) Copywriting:
    • Lead writing for Growth and any ad hoc or recurring content needs, ensuring high-quality execution under tight timelines.
    • Support broader creative needs, from product launches to promotional campaigns

Experience

  • You have 7-9 years of experience working at an agency or in-house. You’ve worked on 360 campaigns before, but you thrive on writing and concepting for social and emails.
