THE JOB / Senior Event Executive, Experiences (Luxury Automotive Client)

EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs.

***Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (2-3 days week in office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL or Atlanta, GA.

We are looking for a Senior Event Executive to implement sponsorship strategy and consumer engagement initiatives utilizing golf as a marketing platform! The role will support efforts to manage the client’s many partnerships within the golf industry, including the PGA TOUR, media properties, and other golf-related entities, to ultimately position the client’s brand as best-in-class within the sport. This is a phenomenal opportunity for anyone who is interested in gaining an intimate understanding of the behind-the-scenes of a PGA TOUR event and forming a network of connections within the world of golf. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in building relationships with partners and event management.

This person will work closely with the Account Manager who oversees sponsorship activation and partnership management, along with key players on the client team as well as brand partners.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Ideate new, creative concepts that elevate the client’s sponsorship activation strategy across all events and partnerships
  • Keep a pulse on current trends and marketing tactics that use golf as a platform
  • Develop expertise in onsite golf tournament brand exposure and consumer experience
  • Support the development of creative assets and consumer communications
  • Use problem solving skills to tackle client challenges and present solutions that take all variables into account
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to support CRM and logistical projects
  • Support weekly status calls and other key meetings with both internal and external constituents
  • Serve as a trusted and reliable agency contact for clients (both domestic and international), internal colleagues and brand partners
  • Ensure various agency partners are aligned and informed on timelines, as well as keep projects moving alongside target dates and budgets
  • Supervision of temporary staff and trainee positions, if applicable

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2-4 years of marketing/sponsorship experience
  • Experience with professional/amateur golf and/or event management
  • Passionate to make an overall account contribution with new partnerships and projects
  • Excellent communication, writing and client service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel and work weekends

Compensation + Benefits:

  • L2: This position pays $50,000, is overtime-eligible and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
