Senior External Producer, PlayStation Studios Mobile

London, UK 

Be an ambassador for PlayStation, collaborating with top mobile game developers in evaluating, producing, and releasing PlayStation Studios Mobile games at the highest level of quality, on time and on budget. 

Reporting to the Director of Studio Operations, managing the development and approval process for mobile products through the entire lifecycle, building high value partnerships to ensure trust and satisfaction for all partners. 

The Role: 

  • Collate, distill, and communicate key information from your team and projects to all stakeholders. 
  • Guide projects throughout the development and approval processes. 
  • Enable and accelerate requests between external developer and PlayStation Studios supporting services. 
  • Lead review, feedback, and validation processes to deliver upon PlayStation Studios quality standards.  
  • Build alignment between all partners, ensuring IP holder and brand needs are met whilst establishing high trust relationships. 
  • Proactive identification and management of project risks. 
  • Organization and verification of project deliverables. 
  • Tracking of project costs and payments against their approved budgets. 
  • Effectively present the project and its details to senior executives and other audiences. 
  • Invoke, advise, and improve PlayStation mobile development best practices. 

What we are looking for: 

  • 8+ years Production experience in the video games industry. 
  • An open communicator, you are respectful of others and an active listener. 
  • Proactive, organised, can multi-task and prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Expert knowledge of game production methods and tools, with a working understanding across all game development disciplines. 
  • Capable of working through ambiguity, can work independently to drive impact, and clearly communicate needs and context to leadership. 
  • Passionate about game development with a deep knowledge of mobile free-to-play game mechanics and first-hand experience of what it takes to execute at a AAA quality level, as a live service. 
  • Experience working with internal and external partners, and world-renowned brands, a strong plus.
