Let's start with the role

You will be part of a growing team that focuses on preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRSs, analyzing and evaluating monthly financial results to ensure timely and accurate reporting, and assisting with the month end close process and ad-hoc projects/requests.

As a Financial Accounting Analyst you will:

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports/statements under IFRS;
Analyze and evaluate monthly financial results to ensure timely and accurate reporting;
Assist with the month-end-close process and ad-hoc projects/requests;
Participate in financial audits, prepare all information needed and oversee the whole process;
Research accounting standards and complex accounting transactions upon management’s request;
Actively participate in Month/Year-End activities, ensuring all relevant activities are compliant with Group policies;
Supervise the posting of expenses reports;
Communicate and inform leadership about the status, the results and any issues with regards to the assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner;
Liaise with external financial advisors, auditors, and other stakeholders;
Advise on any changes or actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

What you’ll bring

Post-graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration;
At least 4 years of relevant professional experience;
Professional Certifications (ACCA/ACA/CPA) or similar will be considered an asset;
Excellent knowledge of IFRS and tax-related issues;
Experienced in accounting activities;
Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central);
Very good understanding of MS Office;
Commercial acumen and strategically-minded but with a hands-on approach;
Very good verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
Analytical, numerical skills and attention to detail.
