About the Senior Financial Analyst, Cash Management at Headspace:

Headspace is seeking an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst of Cash Management to join our FP&A team and help support our rapidly growing business. This individual will play a key role in driving strategic business insights by partnering with both the accounting and finance teams to help create visibility. This individual will work on critical projects that will drive tangible results in our business. This role will help develop data-driven insights and partners closely with the B2B business and cross functional leadership teams to execute our vision of creating a world where we can all care for our minds. Our ideal candidate is someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and has the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.

What you will do:

  • Forecast cash inflows - Build and maintain a cash forecasting model by channel and customer to accurately forecast cash inflows 
  • Forecast cash outflows - Work with AP/procurement team to understand timing of disbursements, prepaid expenses and other cash outflows 
  • Analyze data and provide insights - Consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources to deliver clear story of cash activity in our B2B business
  • Perform regular variance analysis - Investigate differences between cash collections and AOP, diving deep into contract terms and timing of customer payments in close collaboration with other Finance and Accounting team members
  • Understand and communicate to Senior Management team the impact of historical cash activity on future cash flows in monthly reports
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance cash flow processes
  • Contribute to the development of annual budgets and cash flow projections

What you will bring:

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, cash flow/treasury, financial analysis, budgeting, Big 4 and/or related roles
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities 
  • Deep understanding of financial principles, including cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and three statement modeling 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to senior management with confidence, conviction, and credibility
  • A self-starter with a passion to learn and ability to adapt to changing business needs  
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig into the weeds to problem solve

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Software experience with Salesforce 
  • Experience with Health benefits/ Healthcare/ Mental Health/ Wellness industries

Pay & Benefits:

The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skills and scope required, relevant licensure and certifications, and unique relevant experience and job-related skills. The base salary range for this role is $67,230-$94,500.
