The Senior Finance FP&A Partner role is a member of the Audience Measurement FP&A team, supporting the $3B+ segment revenue. In this role, the Senior FP&A Partner will play an integral part in the forecasting, planning, and reporting of revenue for the entire segment.  This role won’t just be reporting the numbers, but will be interpreting the story they tell to ensure strategic alignment to the company.  The Audience Measurement FP&A team is a fast paced, high performing team that executes financial reporting, planning, and analysis.  You will be partnering closely with the entire Nielsen organization to improve reporting packages, planning processes, financial models, KPIs and analytics. Strong financial acumen including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and strategy is required.

Responsibilities

Revenue Forecasting & Modeling: Assist in the end-to-end revenue forecasting process. Build sophisticated models to predict recurring revenue, churn, expansion, and new business.

Strategic Partnership: Serve as a finance partner to the Sales, Pricing, RevOps, and Customer Success teams. You’ll provide the data-driven "why" behind performance gaps.

Pipeline Analysis: Analyze the sales funnel from lead generation to close. Monitor conversion rates, sales cycle length to identify risks and opportunities.

Commission & Incentive: Partner with Compensation to ensure commission structures align with the company's financial goals and motivates the right behaviors.

Executive & Corporate Reporting: Prepare monthly presentations on revenue performance for the Executive Committee, work closely with Corporate FP&A to ensure consistent and timely reporting. 

Modernize Financial Reporting: modernize and automate reporting framework to provide real-time visibility.  Consolidate disparate data sets to ensure a unified single source of truth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 8+ years’ experience in Accounting or Finance Role, must have FP&A experience 

  • Media Industry Experience required

  • Must have a strong work ethic, self-motivated work style and a good attention to detail and enjoy a dynamic environment with new challenges and changing work priorities

  • Individual contributor and team player with great communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills, close attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently

  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency

  • Experience manipulating large data sets and turning them into usable information

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and with senior leadership

  • Solves complex problems: takes a new perspective using existing solutions 

  • Works independently receives minimal guidance

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Suite 

  • Previous Operations Finance experience is a plus 

  • SAP Financial systems experience strongly preferred
