About the role and about You:

We require a talented and enthusiastic Senior Industrial Designer to help our team shape the world of fitness. You will be working alongside a dedicated team to create innovative, user led designs from the concept stage to production. The correct candidate will be able to help define and take concepts into CAD whilst retaining design intent. You must have a great eye for design and a passion for bringing creative concepts to life. You will be supported by a highly skilled industrial design, User experience and Mechanical engineering team. You will work closely with the Product management and UX teams to define user led solutions and help describe these to the wider business. 

What you’ll do: 

• Concept generation 
• Concept visualisation
• Model making - typically blue foam modeling 
• 3D CAD - translation of designs into final 'A surface' CAD models
• Taking ownership of projects and managing the Industrial design responsibilities through to manufacture 
• Assisting the team in user research and creative IP sessions 
• Assisting the wider team defining project briefs and strategy
• Assisting team to define market and brand position
• Management of projects and collaboration with User experience, Product, Mechanical design and firmware teams

What we’re looking for: 

• Strong concept CAD skills are essential; SolidWorks (3D) preferred
• Highly skilled in visual communication; Hand sketching, Digital rendering and  Adobe suite (2D) 
• A proven track record of managing a team of designers and guiding their output 
• Experience with helping define product strategy 
• Keen understanding of consumer lead design
• Brand communication skills. 
• Creativity and innovation-focused
• Foam modeling
• Strong understanding of Keyshot
• Able to present work beautifully and with clarity
• Detail-focused
• A good understanding of design for manufacture
• Vast experience in industry 
• Experience in a consultancy or startup environment
• Experience leading and inspiring creative teams 

 Location & Travel:

• London, UK, primary place of work.
• Occasional visits to Zwift’s Long Beach CA Office or manufacturing partners worldwide may be required.
