Job Description

The Senior Information Security Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining all security related processes and documentation for the Detroit Lions organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Senior Information Security Analyst  position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:

  • Ensuring the organization is complying with all security initiatives and training
  • Manage and deploy all required security training to the user base
  • Document all security policies for the organization
  • Lead organizational responses in security audits based on NFL ISRI
  • Review and resolve security incidents, conduct root cause analysis and lead remediation efforts
  • Develop and improve incident response policy and procedures
  • Handle communication to the organization regarding pressing security alerts
  • Follow all current security trends and provide recommendations for improvement to existing processes
  • Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supplement the IT helpdesk when extra support is needed
  • Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Maintain professionalism when communicating with internal and external contacts
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Will adjust work schedule to meet departmental demands
  • Will keep appropriate information confidential
  • Will accept other responsibilities and duties required by the supervisor consistent with the objectives and essential functions of this position. Such responsibilities shall be incorporated into the position description if they are ongoing.

 QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT risk required. Experience within professional sports or entertainment preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively adjust to rapidly changing business conditions.
  • Strong time management, administrative, organizational, and customer service skills required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • May require work out of both the Ford Field Management Office and the Meijer Performance Center
