The Senior Manager, Financial Systems serves as the primary liaison between Finance and technology teams, ensuring Finance system enhancements, projects, and support activities align with business priorities.

This role partners closely with Finance leadership, IT, and Workday support teams to optimize financial systems, improve business processes, and drive Finance transformation initiatives.

What You'll Do Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Workday Support, IT, and other technology partners, representing Finance priorities and ensuring effective communication regarding system enhancements, projects, issues, and resolution activities.

Partner with Finance leadership to maintain the Finance technology roadmap, evaluate emerging technologies and Workday capabilities, as well as other business application system integrations.

Assist with developing business cases to support technology investments and transformation initiatives.

Evaluate and recommend the use of new or existing applications, automation tools, and agent-based solutions to improve business processes, enhance system capabilities, increase efficiency, and support Finance transformation initiatives.

Analyze business processes and system challenges, identify root causes, and partner with stakeholders to evaluate and recommend solution alternatives.

Coordinate Finance systems initiatives by facilitating discussions among business and technical stakeholders, managing project status, risks, dependencies, and timelines, and communicating progress to Finance leadership.

Coordinate user acceptance testing activities and evaluate Workday releases and system updates to assess impacts, recommend adoption opportunities, and support the successful deployment of new functionality.

Develop and maintain documentation and coordinate communication, training, and readiness activities to support adoption of system enhancements and process changes.

Gather stakeholder feedback and identify opportunities to improve Finance processes, reporting capabilities, system utilization, and overall user experience.

Assist Finance leadership with special projects, system implementations, and Finance transformation initiatives as assigned.

What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. 5–7+ years of experience supporting Finance systems, ERP platforms, Finance technology initiatives, or business process improvement efforts.

Experience with Workday Financials strongly preferred.

Experience with other leading ERP platforms will be considered for candidates with demonstrated success learning and adopting new technologies.

Strong understanding of Finance business processes, including: Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Financial Reporting, Treasury, and Budgeting/Forecasting.

Experience gathering requirements, designing business processes, managing system enhancements, and partnering across business and technology teams.

Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.

Experience supporting ERP implementations, Finance transformation initiatives, or large-scale system enhancements.

Certified Public Accountant, Workday Financials certification, or other relevant professional certifications preferred.
