We’re looking for a strategic and performance-driven Senior Manager of Sales to lead our 8-person sales team and scale our B2C sales engine across markets. You’ll oversee an inside sales team that communicates directly with clients via phone, email, and SMS to drive conversions and engagement. You’ll also support quota-driven sales efforts during New Studio Openings.
Reporting to the Director of Lifecycle, you will build the next chapter of [solidcore]’s national sales strategy. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Studio Operations, Area Managers, and our NSO (New Studio Opening) team to improve studio and digital conversion, implement high-performing workflows, and coach teams to drive client acquisition, upsells, and long-term value.
This is a highly cross-functional and impact-oriented role, perfect for a sales leader who loves blending systems thinking with human performance.
Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy + Execution
Own and evolve the national sales strategy in partnership with Lifecycle, Field Ops, Marketing, and the NSO teamBuild and maintain sales playbooks, systems, and SOPs that scale across marketsLead and develop the sales team’s campaign cadence and monthly priorities based on business needs and performance insightsSet KPIs by role and market, and hold team accountable to performance targets across lead conversion, trial activation, upsell, and LTV metricsDefine and deploy sales campaigns aligned to seasonality, market performance, and product focus - including price testing and promotional recommendationsEnsure excellence in inside sales execution across phone, email, and SMS outreach, using proven scripts and personalized communication strategies to drive conversionCollaborate with the NSO team to define sales goals for new studio launches and allocate sales resources accordingly
Team Leadership + Coaching
Manage and coach an 8-person sales team, including performance management, growth planning, and team structure as we scaleDeliver ongoing training and development, including sales skills for studio managers and coachesServe as a partner and educator to Area Managers and Studio Leadership on sales levers and performance diagnosis
Systems + Optimization
Build and optimize sales workflows - including automation, lead scoring, segmentation, and routing - in partnership with Marketing, Operations, and Digital ProductIntegrate marketing automation tools to streamline outreach and nurture flows, enhancing conversion efficiency while preserving a high-touch client experienceDefine and measure conversion funnels across digital leads, trial clients, and new membershipsPartner with Studio Ops and Product to improve CRM utilization, reduce lead time to sale, and improve reactivation workflowsWho You Are:6+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years managing high-performing B2C sales teamsDeep understanding of sales psychology and proven track record building high-converting systems, ideally in a high-growth, multi-unit consumer businessHealth, fitness, or wellness industry experience strongly preferredComfortable setting KPIs, managing dashboards, and diagnosing funnel issuesStrong coaching and team development skills; you inspire teams to hit ambitious goalsProven success partnering cross-functionally with marketing and field leadersExperience scaling new locations or markets - bonus if you’ve worked on new store/studio ramp playbooksAnalytical, empathetic, and systems-oriented - you balance metrics with motivationExperience with CRM platformsFamiliarity with lifecycle marketing and conversion rate optimization (CRO)[solidcore] is a national boutique fitness company with 100+ studios across the country.
