We’re now looking for a Senior Manager, Software Development to join our Stockholm team. This is a key leadership role for someone ready to scale teams, shape architecture, and drive strategy across multiple high-impact products.

What you’ll be doing

As Senior Manager, Software Development, you’ll lead a team of senior engineers and help shape the future of our platform. From scaling backend systems to streamlining workflows, you’ll play a key role in bringing our product vision to life. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering leaders to align on roadmaps, set priorities, and deliver high-impact solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, empower, and grow a high-performing engineering team
• Own backend architecture and technical direction
• Design and guide development of scalable APIs and systems
• Champion best practices in code quality, performance, and security
• Oversee agile processes and cross-functional coordination
• Ensure smooth production operations and incident response
• Stay current with new technologies and advocate for smart adoption

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience leading development teams in a SaaS or product-driven environment
• Strong background in backend development (e.g., Python, Go) and distributed system design
• Expertise in API development, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and CI/CD workflows
• Solid knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience implementing agile methodologies at scale
• Excellent leadership and communication skills—able to inspire teams and align tech with product goals
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for building powerful, user-focused software
