JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Marketing Program Coordinator will provide day-to-day assistance and support to the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders (DBC) department as directed by the Sr Manager of Marketing – Head of Cheer Operations. This position will be responsible for Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders (JDBC) program planning and execution, including overseeing program events, communication, and staff. This position will also be responsible for administrative tasks, efforts related to DBC events, and supporting the execution of gameday entertainment and marketing initiatives.

 

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee, plan, and execute all aspects of the Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders (JDBC) program by: 

  • Develop annual program plan including schedule and content
  • Manage annual JDBC budget including tuition payments & registration fees
  • Oversee program enrollment, registration, uniform fittings, and participation
  • Maintain JDBC email inbox and development of regular newsletters
  • Merchandise ordering and distribution incl. uniforms and boutique items
  • Planning and execution of all JDBC Clinics, events, and performances
  • Manage and schedule JDBC head instructors; train DBC instructors
  • Select, train, and manage 50+ parent volunteers
  • Schedule all logistics for game day performances including transportation
  • Schedule community performances and community outreach
  • Oversee Dare to Cheer Program
  • Effectively implement Positive Youth Development (PYD) principles through development of content and curriculum

Support Denver Broncos Cheerleader (DBC) events and office administration:

  • Handle day-to-day office tasks such as merchandise management and mailings
  • Assist with logistics of DBC events including, but not limited to: Auditions, Prep Classes, Photo Shoots, Choreography Camp
  • Assist with planning of game day elements including pregame and halftime shows, game day rehearsals, and JDBC gameday
  • Uphold and act upon standards of the DBC Legacy Book
  • Support team and staff apparel selection and purchasing

Other Duties as Assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Cover letter and resume
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, program management, education, youth development, human development/family studies or similar discipline
  • 2-3 years' of youth program experience, ages K-12
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)

 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITY

  • 2-3 years’ experience working in programs or events for a professional organization, sports team, college athletics department, or dance team.
  • Experience in traditional dance or fitness studio client software like Zen Planner
  • Game entertainment, halftime, or similar collegiate or professional experience
  • Highly motivated, strong communication, business, organizational, and customer service-related skills
  • Ability to manage numerous business relationships in a professional manner, including multiple concurrent projects across departments
  • Energetic, responsible, and detail oriented, with a creative eye for live sports entertainment

 

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
