About the right team member

The Partner Manager is responsible for revenue goals driven by the success of partner products. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to build out new partner sales channels. You will work with partners to establish a strategic account planning process and agree upon performance objectives. This person will be responsible for coordinating internal resources to meet and exceed performance objectives and customer expectations. 

About the role

  • Lead large cross-functional partner initiatives. Program manage and work with internal and external stakeholders to improve partner performance
  • Create reporting dashboards, documentation of various workstreams across CX, marketing, finance, accounting, sales, and product 
  • Identify, research, and solve business-related issues and document new systems and processes for project implementation, and discrepancy investigations
  • Evaluate the current portfolio of partners and put together go-to-market plans and sales enablement materials 
  • Gain insight into customer needs via direct relationships and via sales reps to prioritize which partners to bring to market via sales channel
  • Facilitate and run trainings on partner products to our sales team
  • Support the partner experience by answering and fielding partner inquiries, compile areas of improvements, and help troubleshoot internally when issues arise. Make recommendations and collaborate with internal teams to drive business systems and process/policy enhancements
  • Answer internal questions about partners and create resources to educate and support other teams 
  • Manage the ongoing needs of the strategic partners, including marketing refreshes, product updates, and other cross-functional knowledge shares
  • Put together regular reporting for partner attach, performance and process for stakeholder updates 
  • Prepare and present reports, analysis, and other documents that provide insight into business performance
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field required 
  • Exhibits a “sense of urgency” that facilitates the execution of program requirements across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Data-oriented and comfortable performing extensive analysis using Excel and other tools
  • Well organized self-starter 
  • Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced, numbers-driven environment 
  • Must be able to adapt to evolving department/role, able to take on new challenges as they become delegated to the position 
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Excellent organizational, project management and relationship-building skills 
  • Experience in a software/technology environment 
  • Proven ability to lead and execute projects that involve alignment and collaboration across disciplines and craft
  • Ability to evaluate incentives and provide input on aligning with company objectives
