The Senior Product Manager I, based in Mexico, will drive the future strategy and product roadmap for Gracenote Sports products focused on the North and South American markets. The mission is to revolutionize how platforms (TV, streaming, etc.) create seamless, engaging fan experiences, from content discovery to deep engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Vision Ownership: Own and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Gracenote's sports discovery and engagement products.
Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary customer advocate, understanding client challenges (CE, Digital, Pay TV) to create cohesive sports experiences.
Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle, from strategic conception through launch, iteration, and managing the migration of clients from legacy products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work extensively with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and other Product teams to create integrated, differentiated solutions.
Documentation & Requirements: Author clear and comprehensive documentation, including Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), to align all functional teams.
Performance Measurement: Define and analyze success metrics to measure product impact and inform future priorities and iterations.
A genuine passion for and knowledge of the sports and media landscape.
Proven ability to write detailed product requirements, user stories, and comprehensive product documentation (MRDs, PRDs) that drive clarity and execution for technical and non-technical teams.
A strong understanding of the complex data structures inherent in sports and the ability to envision how they integrate with video metadata to create compelling user experiences.
Demonstrated experience in developing products that solve content discovery challenges or create engaging user experiences on media platforms.
Experience working directly with clients to translate their needs into product requirements.
Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a technical, business, or design-related field.
Experience in relevant industries such as OTT, streaming, Connected TV (CTV), broadcast media, or automotive infotainment.
