The opportunity

As a Senior Project Manager - Business Technology at Urban Sports Club, you will be pivotal in implementing multiple concurrent large-scale, company-wide technology projects critical to our business's evolution, enabling the company to automate further and grow at scale.

You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization, investment, and procurement to development and deployment, ensuring these initiatives meet all objectives on time and within budget.

To succeed, you will work closely with Product Development, Operations, Revenue leads, and Senior Management - including our CSO, CFO, CPO, and CPTO. Key projects include implementing systems like CRM, ERP, and HRIS including platform migration.

This role demands a blend of technical understanding, project management prowess, and strategic thinking to navigate complex challenges and drive technological innovation across the company.

Your responsibilities

You are leading the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple technology projects, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives and market standards.
You coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration among management stakeholders from product development, business units including sales and finance, external vendors, and other relevant departments.
You set up and manage project budgets, FRIs, timelines, and resources, applying rigorous risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
You facilitate effective communication, ensuring timely and transparent information flow among all project participants, senior management, Tech & Finance & People and Revenue Org leads.
You ensure continuous team improvement, e.g. moderating regular retrospectives to improve the status quo and helping with change management within the teams.
You work in an international, cross-functional, agile environment with flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes.
You identify problems and find efficient and pragmatic solutions for blockers.

What you need to succeed

You have 5+ years of experience as a Technology Project Manager in a high-paced Product company with experience dealing with budgets exceeding €1m.
You specialize in managing complex, technical projects such as CRM (preferably), HRIS, or ERP projects.
You are a senior expert in project management and agile delivery methodologies, ensuring successful project outcomes through prior senior consulting or corporate development experience.
You demonstrated expertise in budget management, delivering projects within allocated financial resources.
You possess an advanced understanding of business technology trends and frameworks relevant to the industry.
You are experienced in change management, guiding organizations through significant technology transitions.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders including C-level & board members.
You possess strong leadership and decision-making, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
You have demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, fostering relationships across all organizational levels.
