Our Business technology team is responsible for developing goals, strategies, and teams to increase operational efficiency across the group by providing the right tools, automation, and processes in a safe working environment.

As a full-time Senior Software Engineer - API integrations (m/f/d) you will help to build integrations and tools, which drive the enterprise application landscape of EFG. You will work closely with the stakeholders in other departments and the Business Partnering team from Business Technology.

You will evaluate, implement, and run new services and integrations and run and evolve existing solutions, to meet the requirements of all stakeholders and evolve with them. These solutions will be used by all of our entities worldwide or at our events in different locations. In addition, you will be responsible for the business continuity of the services and compliance with global regulatory and security requirements.

Your organizational, communicational, and technical skills help our department to be the best service provider for our internal customers.

Your future tasks:

Evaluate and onboard new integrations and services, in alignment with business needs
Grow existing services and integrations, according to the department's needs
Verify and support the correct usage of the software and workflows you created
Determine KPIs for the adoption, usage, and sentiment of your work and deliver reports to stakeholders
Administration the low code environment you build in - retool.com
Monitor, manage, and optimize integration and services you build
Come up with new workflows and processes for departments and internal end users based on verbalized needs or based on your own knowledge of how things can be done and known best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a developer (frontend, backend or full stack), IT Solution Architect, IT Analyst or similar role
Analytical mindset, a problem-solving aptitude, and most importantly a can-do-attitude that gets people excited inside and outside of the department
Extensive experience with Python or JavaScript
Experience with RESTful APIs, Databases, and Web Technologies
Excellent communication skills
Analytical mindset
Problem-solving attitude
Experience in change management
Experience in low-code platforms for internal tools (retool.com)
