The Position
In this role, you will be working on FanDuel's Core Marketing Platforms Team working with existing Java based services, as well as designing and creating new ones. You'll work closely with our Product, and Marketing colleagues to enable us to create the right solution to solve their problems. You'll work within a small team that works with both third-parties, and in-house software.
You'll participate in discussions around build vs buy, enabling our Marketing partners to make the right choice for the business. Our tech stack includes Java, Docker, K8s and AWS, amongst others and the scale and complexity of our engineering environments provides interesting problems to solve at every turn.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for technical leaders on the team who can take ownership of the architecture and code base. You will, ideally, have experience of influencing the technical direction of a team in a scaling or established technology organisation.

Location
Our Scottish tech hub is based in central Edinburgh and is fitted with fabulous amenities including a Gym, showers, bike parking, gaming pods, multiple breakout areas, meeting rooms, a roof terrace and much more. We operate a hybrid model for the majority of our roles, where we normally spend a day or two in the office per week.
