THE ROLE

Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking for a frontend Senior Software Engineer to help us deliver incredible products to our enthusiastic customer base. Part of your role will be to coach other engineers and design systems. You’ll work on a wide range of tasks from short-term requirements to longer-term capability projects. As a frontend engineer, you will work with Javascript, Typescript, some React, AWS and more. You will support production and have involvement in the end-to-end process, working closely with other teams to ensure alignment and influence technical decisions.

The successful candidate will join our Wallet vertical.

Wallet

The Wallet vertical is a central part of every user’s FanDuel experience. Our architecture supports multiple products and runs on cloud platforms as well as on hardware in several US states. Providing reliable and easy to use payment platforms is key to our success. We work closely with 3rd party vendors to integrate with their APIs and most importantly provide a seamless experience to our users.

THE STATS

What we’re looking for in our next teammate:

• Solid understanding of design patterns and architectural principles.
• Skilled in Javascript & Typescript.
• Some experience of React.
• General experience of CI / CD pipelines.
• Broad understating of containers and orchestration.

Location: Our Scottish tech hub is based in central Edinburgh and is fitted with fabulous amenities including a Gym, showers, bike parking, gaming pods, multiple breakout areas, meeting rooms, a roof terrace and much more. We operate a hybrid model for the majority of our roles, where we normally spend a day or two in the office per week.
