The Position
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who has experience developing frontend services, using tools and technologies such as React.js, Typescript and JavaScript.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Creating highly available and scalable frontend applications
- Proactively identify new opportunities and advocate for and implement improvements on projects
- Leverage customer insights/data to inform decisions, balancing value for the customer with other business goals
- Focusing on operational excellence (leaving things better than when you found them)
- Actively participating in sprint ceremonies like daily huddles, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospective
- Engaging in code reviews and pair-programming
- Mentor, coach, upskill and knowledge-share with your team
What We’re Looking For
- Experience developing mainly frontend applications with React.js, TypeScript and JavaScript
- Experience working to scale in an Agile Scrum environment
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (we use AWS) would be an advantage but not essential

Location: Our Scottish tech hub is based in central Edinburgh and is fitted with fabulous amenities including a gym, showers, bike parking, gaming pods, multiple breakout areas, meeting rooms, a roof terrace and much more.
We operate a hybrid model for the majority of our roles, where we normally spend a day or two in the office per week.

Our salary intelligence, powered by our AI algorithms, has calculated an estimated range for this position between $140,000 - $175,000 . Please note that the actual salary for this position may vary, as it is dependent on various factors including but not limited to experience, location, and market dynamics.
