We are looking for a skilled and reliable Senior Technical Animator to join our experienced team and bridge the gap between animation and technology.

In collaboration with animators, riggers, and programmers, you will be responsible for building systems, implementing animation, and creating runtime rigs in the game engine.

You will also work on improving our inhouse tools and pipeline together with our tools programmers. This includes creating and maintaining technical documentation for animation tools and workflows.

If necessary, you will also guide less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• 5+ years in the game industry (indie or AAA) as a technical animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills

• Solid understanding of anatomy and character kinematics

• Practical experience with complex animation systems, including state machines and motion matching techniques

• Practical experience maintaining physics systems (ragdoll, cloth), including DCC side simulation

• Practical experience with procedural layers, including runtime additives and Control Rigs

• Practical experience co-authoring cinematic and dialogue sequences for seamless blending into and out of gameplay

• Ability to maintain, debug, and optimize animation systems and assets

• Good knowledge of MotionBuilder or Maya

• Proficiency in Python, MEL, or similar scripting languages for tool development and automation

• Team player with strong communication, task management skills, and a passion for innovative technologies

• Proficiency in English

Good to have

• Familiarity with C++ and C#

• Practical experience with motioncapture data pipelines

• Shipped at least one AAA project with wellregarded animations
