We are looking to expand and hire a Senior Event Manager with strong project management experience to join us on shaping the journey of esports. As a Senior Event Manager you’ll be an integral part of our Event management team, responsible for planning and executing events. You’ll be supporting the Project Managers with operational support, practical aspects of event planning and construction. As well as being on-site at assigned events to oversee operations, lead construction and solve emerging problems.

What you’ll do:

Work closely with the Project teams to build large-scale events including both Dreamhack festivals and esports events;
Plan, organize and execute Expo Booths, Music performances and Esports Stages at the Festival, based on the product vision;
Coordinate venue management, caterers, booth designers, contractors, and equipment hire;
Coordinate and manage the set-up and production on-site, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality event;
Provide expertise and knowledge about the practical and technical aspects of event execution, logistics, and construction;
Serve as a resource for project teams to develop creative solutions for operational tasks;
Ensure that the festival meets the operational requirements of both internal and external stakeholders;
Anticipate potential problems and devise appropriate solutions;
Act as the main point of contact for project managers regarding on-site operational issues;
Maintain sustainable relationships with external suppliers, partners, and vendors;

What you need:

In-depth experience of event management (+5 years ideally) ;
Strong technical and practical event knowledge;
Strong ability to supervise experienced vendors;
Exceptional organizational skills;
Experience working with floorplans and drawings in CAD;
Adaptability to work within an environment of frequently changing priorities;
Ability to be proactive and problem-solve when issues arise;
Demonstrated ability to communicate in English language, both spoken and written;
