Job Description

Superbet is looking for an experienced and innovative Technical SEO Specialist to join a rapidly expanding SEO team and take on all aspects of tech SEO across the business. In this role you will have full ownership of our technical roadmap, with the freedom to lead the strategic direction, rebuild our brands and ultimately become a key player in our global expansion. This is a great opportunity to have a real impact on one of the most ambitious brands in the online gambling industry.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in implementing and managing SEO strategies for JavaScript-heavy websites.
• Deep understanding of how search engines crawl, index, and render JavaScript-based content.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and dynamic rendering for SEO optimization.
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals such as hreflang, robots.txt, sitemaps, and structured data.
• Experience with geo-location-based SEO, including setting up country and language targeting using hreflang attributes.
• Proficiency in analyzing crawl logs to identify issues with indexing and crawling.
• Can act as the bridge between the SEO team and developers, communicating issues clearly to find the right solution.
• Great at planning and implementation, can take time to develop a strategy and then see it through to completion.
• Are familiar with the standard SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, Lumar etc.
• Motivated, driven and able to proactively recommend improvements and take initiative on leading investigation into potential issues.
• Is mindful of ROI and impact on business metrics and how technical SEO improvements can help drive revenue.
• Detail orientated. Due to the competitiveness of the market this role will require someone who is keen to look at every piece of the puzzle.
• A forward thinking SEO who is curious about the evolution of search engines and what are the key drivers of success in 2025.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Experience working in the gaming sector.
• Experience working with prerender.io or similar rendering solutions.

Location:

The ideal candidate would be based in Madrid, and willing to work hybrid out of our new office in the city alongside our growing tech team.

We are also open to candidates in Spain (remote), Portugal, Gibraltar, the Netherlands and Malta.
