About the Role

As a Product Designer, you will be a pivotal force in shaping intuitive and engaging user experiences from conception to implementation. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, translating product vision and business requirements into elegant and effective design solutions. This role demands a deep passion for understanding user needs, a strong visual sense, and the ability to champion user-centered design throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the User: Lead and conduct comprehensive user research (including qualitative and quantitative methods), usability testing, and gather feedback to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • End-to-End Design: Take ownership of the complete design process, from initial user research and conceptualization to detailed UI design and developer handoff. This includes creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Iterative Design: Develop innovative and effective design solutions, iterating based on user research insights, usability testing results, analytics, and industry trends.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Presentation: Partner effectively with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure design feasibility, alignment, and successful integration. Clearly articulate design rationale, negotiate priorities, and present design solutions to various audiences, ensuring understanding and buy-in.
  • Design System Management: Contribute to and maintain a consistent and scalable design system, ensuring design consistency and efficiency across products.
  • Facilitate Ideation: Lead and facilitate design thinking workshops and ideation sessions to collaboratively solve complex design challenges.
  • Measure Impact: Define and track key design solution metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
  • User Experience Expertise: Deep understanding and practical application of user research methodologies, information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles.
  • Visual Design Acumen: Strong visual design skills, including a mastery of typography, color theory, layout, and iconography, with a keen eye for creating aesthetically pleasing and highly engaging interfaces.
  • Prototyping & Communication: Proficiency in creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts, validate user flows, and gather feedback.
  • Design Tools: Expertise in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite). Familiarity with collaboration and diagramming tools (e.g., Miro) and presentation software (e.g., Google Slides).
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify user needs, and develop creative, user-centered solutions.
  • Agile Mindset: Comfort working in an agile development environment, embracing feedback, and iterating on designs based on user testing and stakeholder input.
  • Scalability & Reusability: Strong focus on component reusability, scalability, and building robust design systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in UX/Design roles. Experience with web-based Enterprise applications or internal tools is a significant plus.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and demonstrating a user-centered, end-to-end design approach.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
