What you'll be doing:

The job supports the Head of Content to lead a team of writers who research and write engaging news articles on racing and the sports covered on the sites, along with producing articulate previews, predictions and betting tips around matches, races and events. The content must be written in a timely manner to service regular site content to a predefined schedule. Your role will be to ensure that the content is produced to a high standard in Korean. 

We are looking for people with a good knowledge and interest in sport and/or racing who can process significant volumes of engaging content with impeccable standards of accuracy worthy of publication on respected sports and racing authority sites.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the production of compelling sports content with a global and local focus
• Ensure the website users receive the best possible experience, including engaging headlines, dynamic picture usage and impeccable standards of accuracy
• Ensure the content that is delivered fulfils the needs and expectations of both the audience and stakeholder
• Ensure the output of all content is delivered in a timely manner
• Assist in managing the content schedule
• Maintain the Sports Calendar which is a key focus on the website and assist in updating the sports content schedule
• Assist with the running of the social media channels and stand in for the Social Media Manager when required
• Create written content for the Gosu websites

Requirements

You'll need to have this:

• Experience in sports journalism (preferably digital journalism) or social media with a focus on producing appealing, high-quality content
• Excellent content handling skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Fluent verbal and written proficiency in both English and Korean
• Ability to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• IT literate, knowledge of content management systems preferred or ability to learn a new system
