The Marketing Department seeks a talented visual storyteller with experience producing original, clever & entertaining content for social channels. The Social Media Producer, under the direction of the Sr. Social Media Manager, will work closely with the Marketing team, Content team, and Partnership Marketing team to assist in the conception & execution of video assets for Angel City FC’s social media accounts with the goals of increased engagement & fan acquisition. Must be available to work most (14) home game days and travel to the training facility once or twice weekly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Work closely under the direction of the Sr. Social Media Manager to shoot, edit, and enhance organic and sponsored videos that embody brand DNA and social media best practices
• Participate in constructing original and topical content, write concept outlines, pitch ideas, and write scripts if necessary
• Support team with video production needs, including creative execution, project management, and post-production
• Execute social-first video content 
• Regularly review the social & digital work of our competitors and industry leaders to stay at the forefront of content trends constantly
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience producing & creating content for social media and digital platforms at a brand or digital agency
• Extremely proficient in the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite, experience with project management tools such as Asana a plus
• Has experience with editing software and technical knowledge of video production
• Strong understanding of social media & best practices in this space
• Excellent project management and communication skills: self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and adhering to tight deadlines
• Prior experience publishing to social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, and Facebook
• A keen eye for trends across platforms and how to apply them to our brand
• Excellence in visual design, including typography, photography, and videography - animation skills are a plus
• Working knowledge of basic lighting techniques is a plus
• Must be proactive in managing projects, retrieving and following up on all assets necessary to get the job done
• Manage time effectively across multiple projects, adhering to production schedules in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and quality
• Strong understanding of the internet, and social media, and a passionate user of digital technologies who is curious about the evolution of branded content and marketing
• A strong online portfolio that includes examples of work
• Welcomes feedback with an open mind, always seeking to improve work
• Strong interest & knowledge of the football/soccer world, especially the NWSL 
• Personable, proactive, creative, and innovative team player who believes in the mission and values of Angel City FC
• Available to work a majority of home games (season runs March - November)

Compensation

In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $70-$75k
