As a Software Engineer focused on Unreal, you will be responsible for designing and developing the implementation of simulation systems for games. This role works closely with other programmers and the production team to create high-performance, robust, and sustainable systems in a game development environment, considering its performance.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and maintain clean, modular, and scalable C++ and Blueprint code
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, gameplay mechanics, and technical specifications
• Develop complex gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using Unreal Engine, ensuring they align with the project's vision and objectives
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine
• Strong C++ skills and programming principles knowledge
• Experience with the Unreal Gameplay Ability System (GAS)
• Experience developing multiplayer games with Unreal replication
• Experience building UI in Unreal (UMG)
• Experience using Unreal profiling tools

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of professional experience with Unreal Engine development
• Experience with optimizing games for performance and scalability across platforms (PC, console, mobile, etc.)
• Experience developing with Unreal Lyra starter project
• Experience developing open world games with Unreal partitioning
• Backend services development (dedicated game servers, matchmaking)
• Unreal Plugin/SDK Integration experience (eg Sentry, Wwise)
• Unreal Animation Blueprints experience
• Experience working on shipped titles, especially AAA games
