And maybe that’s what you want too. We are looking for diligent, passionate, and motivated individuals to join our QA team on an exciting Unannounced Project. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing testing resources, improving overall quality assurance outcomes by becoming feature experts, and championing formal QA processes. Using exceptional communication skills, they are also organized, perceptive, and curious people who can find bugs, identify risks, provide game feedback, and help us make our game awesome. This is a fully remote position based in North America.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical expert within the QA team.
Create extensive test plans, strategies for technical game features, and script solutions to boost productivity including updating and continually improving testing processes, test plans, and testing tools
Set the standard for writing, tracking, and verifying bugs and feature improvements
Ensure that games meet platform-specific technical standards and guidelines.
Communicate, measure, report, track and escalate simultaneous tasks, critical issues, roadblocks, bottlenecks and progress to stakeholders as needed
Be “a voice” of QA, and take part in other activities within the company as needed
Coordinate responsible test areas with internal staff and external QA groups
Develop/Identify appropriate tools and frameworks to support testing efforts
Test management, ensure effective and efficient application of test processes and tools
Continuous Improvement – Help define, improve and implement test processes and tools
Set up internal playtest builds and provide debug support for technical issues

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience working in QA in game development
Demonstrated experience in test planning for complex technical features/systems
The ability to work with remote teams spread across multiple time zones
Knowledge of Jira and/or experience with issue tracking/project management tools
Ability to coordinate and communicate actively with the other project leads and engineers
Strong ability to prioritize and assess risk management
Possess in-depth knowledge and experience with various gaming consoles.
Expertise in console compliance testing like Technical Requirements Checklist (TRC) and Xbox Requirements (XR) is a plus
Experience in the Unreal Editor is a plus
Experience with live titles is a plus
Experience managing other QA teammates is a plus
Experience shipping on PC, Xbox, or Playstation
