About the Role

As a Sr Unity Engineer, you’ll own game features and exercise your creativity through every step of the development process, from initial design all the way to live game support. You will work closely with product, design and software engineers to implement game client features at a high quality and reusable components to actively contribute to the speed of development of Fortis games.

What you’ll achieve

• Develop new gameplay concepts for the central platform team demo app in a reusable component way to be used within the game teams.
• Contribute to the entire lifecycle of our game application, including scoping, technical design, implementation, documentation, and deployment.
• Work with back-end software engineers to implement server-dependent game features.
• Observe the studio’s development guidelines and follow the project’s code style and architecture in close communication with other developers.
• Instrument, profile, and analyze client code to identify and fix complex bugs and performance issues.
• Produce technical design documentation to educate stakeholders and fellow engineers about software design decisions and principles.
• Work with the game teams when appropriate to align on their needs.
• Thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the development process.

• Proficiency in English and strong interpersonal communication abilities.
• Experienced in developing mobile games using Unity3D.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and automated testing platforms, including Unit tests.
