The Opportunity

As a Senior Software Engineer on the GolfNow team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance applications that power a high-volume, customer-facing platform within VERSANT’s Golf business. This role operates at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations—translating business needs into reliable, modern software solutions.

You will take ownership of complex technical initiatives, contribute to architectural evolution, and help drive engineering excellence through best practices, continuous delivery, and thoughtful system design.

Work Environment:
This is a fully remote role. While day-to-day work is distributed, there will be opportunities for intentional in-person collaboration (~10%) to support team connection, planning, and key initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable applications supporting high-volume user traffic
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Quality Engineering, Data, and Operations to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to evolving system architecture and engineering standards
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, leveraging modern frameworks, APIs, and CI/CD practices
• Drive continuous improvement by reducing technical debt and optimizing system performance and reliability
• Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to a culture of learning and technical excellence
