THE POSITION

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for collaborating with the Cybersecurity teams (GRC, Engineering & Operations, and IAM Software Security, and partner with all departments within the organization, Global Flutter teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors. Senior Security Program Manager role will support all facets of the Cybersecurity department including both functional and technical areas to ensure appropriate allocation of resources, solve scheduling and prioritization conflicts, manage dependencies, and communicate status, risks, and issues. The role will report to the Director of Security Programs and will be accountable to the CISO.

 

THE GAME PLAN
 Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of programs.
  • Demonstrate intense ownership of all programs.
  • Assemble and coordinate with both internal and global operational teams
  • Define and track program milestones and deliverables.
  • Provide direction and support to program teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Continually monitor and report status updates to leadership.
  • Ability to communicate solutions/updates across all work streams.
  • Identify key milestones and identify decisions or trade-offs that need to be made to ensure successful delivery of solutions on time.
  • Work as part of a multi-skilled team (including technology, compliance).
  • Align and manage delivery from our third-party delivery partners as part of an overall delivery stream view.
  • Coordination & liaison with internal engineering teams.
  • Coordinate with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Work with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure clear and precise delivery of programs.
  • Be trusted to use program management tools (Jira, Confluence).

 

THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate

  • Has a great command of delivering diverse programs with a record of success.
  • Excellent facilitation skills as it relates to Program management (POCs/Retros/Lessons Learned).
  • Ability to influence peers/managers and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity.
  • Ability to manage programs across multiple locations & time zones.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision at detailed levels while taking account of interdependencies at higher levels.
  • Demonstrates a bias for action, can deliver in an agile environment, and has a proven ability to turn troubled programs around.
  • Ability to influence others without formal authority.
  • Ability to communicate difficult messages tactfully.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to motivate potentially large and diverse teams from across the business and external stakeholders and create effective teams.
  • Proficient in PM (Project Management) Tooling (Confluence, Jira)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 + years’ of Technical and/or Functional Program Management experience. Cybersecurity experience preferred.
  • 3 + years’ experience with exposure to cybersecurity.
  • PMP preferred.
  • Has bona fide experience of working with distributed teams.
  • Has experience managing vendor delivery teams.
  • Passionate about creating a culture that builds and enables high performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Has experience of working directly with technology and engineering teams.
  • Confident and adaptive coaching style.
  • Organized and transparent regarding plans, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Good relationship manager and negotiator; able to build agreements with business stakeholders.
  • Advocates an environment where the right decisions are made through consensus.
