PlayStation Studios Malaysia is looking for a Studio Operations & Development Specialist to join our team for a six-month contract.  You will be reporting to a manager to support the strategy, planning and execution of the studio’s operations & development plan. This position is a great opportunity to learn about the running of the studio and give you the core skills you’ll need to succeed and grow into a creative industry.  We are looking for a true team player!    

 

Responsibilities 

  • Support Studio operational matters in terms of planning and execution of any relevant projects such as related to building management, security, facilities, office management, logistics and etc. 
  • Support Studio development initiatives in terms of planning and execution of any relevant programs such as company events, outreach activities, talent programs and etc.  
  • Work with studio leadership to facilitate office renovation project through working with internal stakeholders, workplace delivery team, appointed consultant and general contractor. 
  • Monitor delivery, timeline and status for the office renovation project and communicate effectively to internal stakeholders. 
  • Work with studio leadership with capturing and creating social media content on an as needed basis. 
  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar, while planning strategic campaigns for the quarter and year ahead. 

 

Requirements 

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. 
  • Experience managing multiple projects and vendors. 
  • Strong project management, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. 
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal. 
  • Good knowledge of MS programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint). 
  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail. 
  • Adaptable and flexible to changes. 

 

Pluses  

  • Experience using image and video editing software. 
  • Prior experience in the games, entertainment or high-tech industry. 
  • Access to a personal vehicle (four-wheel) for work-related travel. 
  • PlayStation fan.
