Talent Acquisition Lead (12 month FTC)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Lead to join our high performing Talent Acquisition team in Sydney on a 12 month maternity leave contract. This is a non-technical Talent Acquisition role that will focus on hiring across our operations, marketing and finance teams. 

As the Talent Acquisition Lead you are an integral member of our recruiting team responsible for delivering top talent and excellent service to hiring teams across multiple departments and locations including but not limited to product, marketing, operations, finance and customer support. You are responsible for developing, sourcing and attracting a balanced pipeline of quality candidates and are capable of generating results in a fast-paced environment. You will also have responsibility to lead a team of 3 Talent Acquisition Specialists in Manila. 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and drive a full-cycle recruitment process in Greenhouse including sourcing, screening, interview, feedback, reference checks and offers for all levels of candidates from entry to senior level ensuring an excellent candidate experience and fast turn-around times
  • Establish strong relationships with hiring managers using your experience to help them shape meaningful job descriptions, job postings that speak to our target audiences and influence the processes to ensure effective and efficient recruitment  
  • Influence business leaders and educate hiring managers on process, interview best practices, and decision making
  • Partner with wider People & Culture team to understand compensation structure and develop offers in line with that structure
  • Manage a small team of TA Specialists in Manila including performance outcomes, capacity management, collaboration and training
  • Provide coaching, mentorship and knowledge sharing to members of the team
  • Actively contribute to the recruitment and retention of your team
  • Understand the market drivers and challenges to identify new talent pools

What you will bring to the role:

  • Three or more years of experience recruiting in an in-house talent acquisition function or combined agency experience hiring operations, marketing or finance roles
  • Experience working within a technology-based organisation
  • Ability to build relationships, partner and influence key stakeholders to drive successful recruitment outcomes
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and a variety of sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience in leading a small team of recruiters including performance outcomes and capacity planning
