Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Producer for a new game being developed at DPS Games, where you will help us build the next big free-to-play PC title from Wargaming, the company that brought us World of Tanks and one of the strongest free-to-play PC game companies in the world. 

You will work with multiple stakeholders, helping to ensure projects are planned, executed, and communicated properly. You will bring your technical experience in Live Ops tools and a product-driven approach – you will understand how web applications are built and integrated to optimise our player experience.  

Reports to

This position is based hybrid in Guildford, UK and reports to the Development Director. 

What will you do?

  • Drive a team to deliver a comprehensive toolset for F2P Live operations 
  • Communicate drive and implement the vision for all features you control 
  • Take features through the game development lifecycle, managing the expectations of project stakeholders at all stages 
  • Evaluate the potential success and quality of features through a combination of metrics and qualitative review 
  • Support teams in a wide variety of ways including design, vision refinement, process refinement, hiring, etc 
  • Support teams in running a variety of project management methodologies (Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, etc.) 
  • Create the development milestones against acceptance criteria to ensure features are on track 
  • Provide visibility in project tracking, seeing the bigger picture and reporting on progress 
  • Be the go-to person for interaction between development and stakeholder including teams such as QA, Localization, Marketing, LiveOps, Legal, Finance, etc 
  • Work with distributed teams and outsource partners to ensure delivery of their components on time 

What are we looking for?

  • Experience as a Producer or Senior Producer within the gaming industry 
  • Proven experience with in-game Live Ops tools 
  • Deep understanding of players’ engagement and monetization mechanics 
  • Strong analytical skills with proven data-informed approach 
  • A hands-on approach, with a full-stack knowledge of all aspects of designing, building, operating and optimizing a game 
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering features to meet expectations, working across multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Strong communication at all levels, building working relationships across multiple teams 
  • Not scared to get in amongst the weeds on a project, but able to retain the detachment needed to make the right calls 

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Experience with products in Live Ops 
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, Excel  
  • Experience running PC/Console/Mobile game development projects 
  • Experience working with highly distributed development and support teams 

Work mode

Hybrid 3 days of work from the office.
