Gracenote a Nielsen company is looking for an experienced sales professional to join as Vice President Commercial, SMB, leading Gracenote’s commercial strategy and sales efforts in the SMB market segment.
In this role, the individual will be a significant contributor in creating the business plan, will own commercial progress and financial/non-financial KPIs related to SMB clients and prospects and overarching responsibility for the commercial segment, including the key focus areas of:
Stewarding of the SMB Market Segment 3-5 Year Business PlanQuarterly & Annual Revenue Targets for the team and individual sales professionalsDriving revenue growthIdentifying new clients prospects in new markets Contributing to the pricing structureCollaborating with Marketing on Digital Sales Campaigns to drive leads, track progress, and convert sales Spearheading cross functional collaboration between Marketing, Product & Customer CareAdditionally, the individual will be responsible for:Building the commercial strategic SMB vision, based on industry knowledge, client needs and internal feedbackDefining and executing the global commercial strategy and roadmap in the near and long-termLeading the SMB Sales TeamLeading key commercial initiatives to drive focused growth across specific products and go to marketImplementing improvements within the commercial group to ensure Gracenote is efficient in our growthPartnering with Customer Success & Product to ensure Gracenote client satisfactionActing as a conduit between the Product and Commercial organizations to support Commercial needs and translating feedback into the product strategy and roadmapStrong collaboration with Marketing & Finance to ensure both financial & market KPIs are met quarterlyReviewing the competitive landscape and user feedback to improve product features and discover product/feature opportunitiesOur comprehensive benefits package (including health & wellness plans for full-time employees, 401(k) retirement coupled with a Nielsen match, a generous paid time off policy, and if eligible, a discretionary incentive/bonus) is designed to be inclusive for all employees and families, and we take pride in ensuring that employees are rewarded holistically for the role they are doing and their performance.
A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $100,000 - $300,000, which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications, and other business requirements/needs.
