Activities and expectations
*Ability to build a best-in-class FP&A team and effectively lead through an enterprise and finance transformation
*Standardize management reporting, automate and consolidate repeatable/standard activities
*Reporting and planning responsibility for holistic view of a complex, enterprise-wide transformation program, with scenario planning to highlight risks
*Partner closely with the Transformation PMO, Sponsors, and BUs to drive accountability and ensure success of transformation program goals
*Transform planning expectations, and implement best planning practices across the global FP&A team, including the Global Capability Center:
-Planning & Budgeting; current year and mid/long-term rolling corporate estimates and forecasts incl. cash forecasting
-Ensure accurate and on-time inputs for board and investor presentations; support M&A analyses
-Business intelligence, insight identification and decision analytics
-Capital planning; CAPEX management; cash planning and forecasting
-Performance tracking against operating plans; identifying risks and opportunities
*Be a thought partner to the executive leadership team; action urgent requests from CEO/CFO/Sponsors
*Drive thought and process leadership to the business through:
-Bring strategic financial insights to create value, ad hoc reporting and scenario modeling, special projects on revenue and expense tracking and forecasting; pipeline tracking and forecasting; Pricing
-Reporting, revenue and expense tracking for transformation initiatives
-Business case, zero based budgeting mindset for product and technology teams
-Cross-functional partnering to ensure end-to-end support for new products, commercial discussions, etc
Competencies/SkillsPrior Corporate or business FP&A experience preferred either in a public corporation or a PE setting with at least 10+ years experienceBackground in advertising-technology and/or information services industry is beneficial; expertise in measuring and reporting of software / recurring revenue metrics Experience with large scale transformation projects and / or finance transformation would be beneficialExperience leading global teamsStrong finance business partnering experience, striking balance of relationship building and business accountabilitySound fundamentals across financial management, strategic thinking, commercial and business intuition, reporting, accounting, business partneringExcellent executive communication skills and storytelling across oral, written, and powerpoint/slides Knowledge of SAP S4 Hanna (preferred), GAAP & SOX Compliance knowledgeableHighly organized and capable of juggling multiple prioritiesExperience managing high performing finance teams and building talent pipeline for finance undefinedundefined

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $160,000 - $288,000, which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications, and other business requirements/needs.
